Boiled Crab (蟹)
There is a crab boat which sells live crabs really cheap in Half Moon Bay marina.
It's a bit of cruelty going on in the boiling process, but after closing the lid, crabs are pretty quiet.
Sorry and thank to crabs. Very fresh & yummy :)))

Tandorii Chicken and Coconut Fried Rice(タンドリチキンとココナッツライス)
Coconut rice is taught by Mr. A as my future brother in-low. Stir fry rice with Indian spices such as cumin, mustard seed, etc, and steam it after adding half water and half coconut milk . It's really good !

Pumpkin Dish(かぼちゃの煮物)
Kabocha is Japanese pumpkin and it's much sweeter than American ones. We flavor it with soy sauce or make pumpkin pie out of it which is much more delicious than American pumpkin pie in my opinion.

Chichen Egg Rice Bowl(親子丼)
This is a typical homey Japanese dish. Boil chicken with sliced onion, soy sauce, sake, and suger, and finish it with beaten egg. After putting egg, turn off the heat, and put lid on it so that egg does not get so hard. Usually, served with Mitsuba leaf (some sort of Japanese herb).

Eggplant and Fried Tofu (なすと揚げだし豆腐)
Typical Japanese meal for one nice Sunday branch !
I roast whole egg plants in toaster oven, and left them overnight so that next day I can peel the skin easily. Then marinate them in soy sauce, suger, vinegar, and a bit of red chilli.
Tofu (Atsuage) was purchased, but you can deep fly tofu by your self to make Atsu-age ("thick fry"), and serve it with egg plants.

Tandori Chicken and Colored Green (タンドリチキンとカラードグリーン)
Indian people don't eat chicken skin, so normally Tandori chicken does not have skin. I thought crispy spicy chicken skin would taste wonderful, and I kept it unpeeled. Yes ! it tasted very good !
I won't peel it any more :p Prepared yogurt sauce with mint and red onion to ease spiciness.
Final look ,

Eggplant Lasagna (なすのラザニア)
Sauteed eggplan in fry pan with olive oil and garlic, and put them in Lasagna. You can microwave lasagna pasta, layered 2,3 sheets of pasta with tomato sauce, egg plant, and put cheese on the top. It tastes like Eggplant Parmesan, but much easier to make.
Asparagus Salad (アスパラとゆで卵のサラダ)
Asparagus salad again ! yes, it's the season of Asparagus. It tastes really sweet and refreshing. Adding chopped red onion, boiled egg, mayo, vinegar, and salt.
